General Dentistry
Dr. Stevens and his dad Dr. Stevens Sr. has provided family dentistry for their patients at the same location since 1954. Dr. Stevens Sr. retired in 1984, and Dr. Stevens Jr. continues today to provide the comprehensive care for his patients; this is his trademark.

Composite Fillings
For over 150 years, cavities were filled with a mixture of metals, including silver and mercury. But today, you can get your cavities, as well as any other smaller hollow areas in your teeth, filled with composite fillings. Composite fillings are made from resins that are matched to your tooth's color - so they become invisible when applied.

Veneers
Dental veneers are custom-designed shell of ceramic material that, when applied over the surface of a tooth, cover worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment, spacing, discoloration, chips or cracks. Veneers typically last over 20 years.

Bonding
A common procedure for most minor dental corrections such as; cracks, discoloration, gaps, uneven bite pressure and decay. Bonding is also known as composite bonding and is a quick and affordable.

Periodontal/Gum Disease
Periodontitis (a form of gum disease) is the leading cause of tooth loss among adults in the United States. It is a chronic infection of the gums which can result in the loss of tissue between the tooth and jaw bone.

Tooth Extraction
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, we will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, there's too much damage for the tooth to be repaired and needs to be removed.

Root Canals
A root canal is a treatment to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or has become infected. The nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form and can lead to abscesses, or pus-filled infections, and eventually to tooth loss.

Bridges
Like dental implants, dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth. Unlike Implants, bridges are supported by the teeth on either side of the missing tooth.

Dentures
Whether you need just a few teeth replaced or a full set, dentures replace your missing teeth and your smile. Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health.

Neuromuscular & TMJ
Neuromuscular dentistry focuses on severe jaw misalignment problems and how they affect your teeth, nerves and muscles. Specifically, these problems stem from TMD - Temporomandibular joint disorder - which also goes by the name TMJ syndrome. For more information about TMJ click here.

Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped "cap" that is placed over a tooth that covers the tooth to restore its shape and size and strength. A crown, when cemented into place, fully encases the entire visible portion of a tooth that shows above the gum line.

Pediatric Dentistry
Pediatric dentistry covers infancy through the teenage years and focuses on proper oral hygiene habits and on dental issues specific to children.
