About James J Stevens DDS

Dr James Stevens Sr. started the practice of dentistry in 1946 and has been at the current location since 1954. Dr. James Stevens, Jr. followed in his father's footsteps, and is now treating fourth generation patients. Currently, his oldest patient is 99 and the youngest is 3. Dr. Stevens Jr. graduated from Georgetown University for college and graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Stevens Jr. served in the air force for 2 years at Rickenbacker Air Force Base in Columbus Ohio and included a tour in Guam.

In January of 2008, the office was ranked by Washington Check Book Magazine in the top 3% of dentists in the Washington area.

Dr. Stevens Jr. is a proud supporter of the Somerset School Classic 10 K that takes place in September. The proceeds benefit the Somerset School in Chevy Chase. He is involved with his community and participates in Children's Dental Health Month in February.

Dr Stevens is also proud to donate time and talent to the Montgomery County Free Dental Clinic during the year.

Dr. Stevens is available for registered patients in case of dental emergencies.
