Although many things have changed in our local area since Dr James J Stevens Sr started the practice; we have been able to remain a fixture within the community by providing great service, the newest technologies, and gentle dentistry from the same office. Hygiene Hints
As we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays remember that when using an electric tooth brush, most of them have timers. Don't play "Beat the Clock" with the timer. Be sure to give the brush the full two minutes so everyone can have a healthy New Year!
Many patients wonder why they are getting fluoride following their cleaning. By age 50 many people develop some cavities on the root of the tooth. As we age our gums recede and more tooth is exposed with less enamel to protect the tooth. An application of fluoride just after the teeth have been cleaned can help arrest root cavities.
Remember an electric tooth brush can be a great stocking stuffer!
